Accountant / Bookkeeper

Eram Talent is looking for a meticulous and reliable Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage accurate financial records and ensure the integrity of all accounting transactions. The Accountant/Bookkeeper maintains accurate financial records and supports reporting, payroll, and analysis to enable sound financial management and timely decision-making. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role owns day-to-day bookkeeping including journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance. It prepares periodic financial statements and management reports, processes payroll and related statutory deductions, supports budgeting and cashflow tracking, monitors expenses against budget, and assists with audits, tax filings, and compliance. The role also provides financial analysis and insights to support operational and commercial decisions, coordinating cross-functionally with HR on payroll and with operations on budgets. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities • Record and maintain all financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. • Maintain and update general ledgers and reconcile accounts. • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved timely. • Assist with payroll processing and related accounting entries. • Prepare and submit timely financial reports to management. • Full-cycle bookkeeping: journals, AP/AR, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations • Financial statement preparation and periodic management reporting • Payroll processing and statutory deductions/compliance • Budgeting, cashflow monitoring, and expense control • Financial analysis, variance analysis, and reporting dashboards • Audit support, tax filing, and regulatory compliance • Chart of accounts management and month-end/year-end close
