Key Responsibilities • Technical Leadership • Provide vision and direction for the technical department, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives. • Mentor and develop engineering teams to enhance skills and expertise. • Drive innovation by encouraging and implementing new technologies and methodologies. • Project Management • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed to specifications, on time, and within budget. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all technical aspects of projects are integrated effectively. • Continuous Improvement • Identify areas for improvement within technical operations and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Utilize data and metrics to assess performance and implement corrective actions as needed. • Stakeholder Collaboration • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align technical requirements with business objectives. • Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and industry partners to support project success. • Compliance and Risk Management • Ensure adherence to all relevant local and international standards, regulations, and best practices in engineering and construction. • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical operations. • Reporting and Documentation • Maintain thorough documentation of technical specifications, project plans, and compliance records. • Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
