QC Inspector - Piping - Project

SECTION I: Job Summary The QC Inspector – Piping performs inspection and testing of piping fabrication and installation activities to verify compliance with isometrics, welding procedures, and applicable codes and standards. SECTION II: Job Analysis Duties & Responsibilities ·         Perform in-process and final inspections on piping fabrication and installation works. ·         Witness hydrotests, NDE activities (RT/UT/PT/MT), and other required tests per the ITP. ·         Verify pipe fit-up, alignment, and welding against approved isometrics and WPS. ·         Verify materials, spools, and fittings against material certificates and specifications. ·         Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required. ·         Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors. ·         Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports. ·         Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site. ·         Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for piping works. ·         Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and piping codes (ASME B31.3). ·         Support preparation of quality documentation for piping handover dossiers.
