As part of the group's broader digital transformation, we operate through platforms like Zid and Salla, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. In light of this growth, we are expanding our finance team to support the brand’s continued success and ensure strong financial performance and transparency. Role Summary: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and support the growing needs of our e-commerce business. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in online accounting systems and who understands the financial workflows of digital retail operations. NOTE : If you have previous experience working with e-commerce platforms, please include a brief summary explaining the reconciliation process between the payment gateway and the e-commerce store you worked with in the COVER LETTER SECTION. Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable. • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Analyze order profitability and product-level margins based on data from online platforms. • Review supplier invoices and e-invoices issued through the online store. • Track and validate cost of goods sold (COGS) using inventory data from Zid and Salla. • Coordinate with marketing and operations to produce financial performance reports and business insights. • Reconcile payment gateway reports (e.g., Tabby, Tamara, credit cards, bank transfers) with accounting records. • Ensure alignment between warehouse stock movement and financial reporting.
