Senior Electrical Estimation & Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Estimation & Design Engineer / Manager with 10+ years of experience in electrical estimation, design, BOQ preparation, and project bidding. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in interpreting electrical drawings, preparing accurate quantity take-offs, developing electrical designs, and coordinating with vendors and bidding teams. Key Responsibilities • Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine project scope, materials, and equipment. • Perform quantity take-offs and determine material and resource requirements. • Prepare BOQs from MEP electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs). • Prepare and review electrical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and BOMs . • Prepare Protection Single Line Diagrams and ensure designs comply with applicable international codes and standards. • Perform electrical estimation and BOQ preparation for industrial and residential facilities . • Coordinate with the bidding team for project estimation and tender submissions. • Coordinate with vendors and negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve competitive project costs. • Carry out transformer sizing, DG sizing, load calculations, cable sizing, cable schedules, circuit breaker sizing, and protection system sizing . • Prepare electrical layouts and Single Line Diagrams using AutoCAD .
